Stop! I know what you’re thinking! Dinner and a movie blows ass for a first date, don’t ever do it again. I’m going to tell you much better places to go then some fancy restaurant and the AMC 30. They’re cheaper too.

There are many problems with the conventional dinner and movie. First of all, it is just that, conventional. You don’t want conventional, you’re supposed to be different than all the other losers. Second, dinner and a movie can cost a hell of a lot. If she doesn’t like you, that’s fifty bucks down the drain. This brings me to my next point. If you two don’t hit it off, she is stuck with you for the rest of the night. It’s a waste of your time and hers. There is also some deeper reasoning behind why these kinds of dates are bad which I will write about later (under inner game).

Your mindset should be that you’ve got things to do and she’s tagging along. In fact, I really hate to call it a date because it just doesn’t seem like one. Anyway, you’ll want to do something that normally would be boring as hell. Grocery shopping, taking a walk, running errands, clothes shopping. Any mundane activity you can think of is a gold mine. It’s your job to make that mundane activity fun. There is nothing to distract her and if you do a good job she’ll love you for it.
