How can I make my boyfriend feel better?
My boyfriend has been really sick for 5 days with a bad cold/flu. Hes nauseas, has a fever, sweats, chills, the whole bit and a really bad cough. Tomorrow is his birthday and I wanted to go and spend the day with him to make him feel better since he is sick. (we cancelled his party)
What can I do for him? Guys, would you like it if your gf came to take care of you? What sorts of things would make you happy? how can I surprise him? What if I just spent the day in bed with him, cuddling…watching movies? ideas?
Im 23, hes 20. I love him.

Bring him some good chicken noodle soup and rent a few guy movies to watch with him. Just be there with him, and hell be so grateful .

If he loves u as much as u love him, then he will be happy as long as ur there!!! movies, or anything with him, will be great to do on his birthday, but make sure that he isnt toooo sick to the point where he doesnt want to be around anyone!! Hope it helps!!:)

When youre sick. There;s nothing you can do. Just feed him chicken noodle soup and give him Tylenol. When he feels better. Make up by throwing him a late birthday surprise.

i would give him some time and space for him to get better. Get him a movie or something that doesnt require alot of moving around, and take it easy. just ride it out and wait for him to get better

That would make me so happy if my girlfriend did that:)))).
Um make some garlic tea for him. Um My gf coming over with medicine would make me feel sooooooo special. Just say i hope you feel better and make something up that you cant come over. Um just watch movies cuddle yada yada yada etc ya..

Wow wierd age difference haha. Jk it really doesnt matter im sorry, you prolly get that alot. Anyways, i got surgery once and i loved it when my girlfriend got me a teddy bear with her perfume on it. He was so cute. I named him Cournel Wafflejam. I slept with him every night until we broke up : [ Then i burned it BAHAHAHAH. But no seriously, get him the teddy bear.

Buy him groceries. I would love the company, the attention, the care. Spend the day in bed with him and cater to his needs even if you have to feed him brat food.

My boyfriend loves when I stay with him while hes sick and when I buy him his favorite soup, movie, etc. Make him laugh as much as you can and give him massages. It works!
Pay a lot of attention to him so that he can as comfortable as possible. Cool him down when hes hot with a damp face towel on his forehead. Warm him up with blankets and maybe a warm tea/drink.
P.S. Get him some lemonade and make sure he rests, which is even better for you because you can spend time relaxing with him in bed

Make Ck noodle soup Take Gatorade and just watch tv or sleep with him; He could careles about the gifts. Tell him when he feels better you will do something for him thern, But he may not want you sick so he may not want comapny. Just depends on how he feels! Do not take it personal!

Turn the tables. If you were sick, it was your birthday, what would you want your boyfriend to do for you? When you figure that out, consider doing that. Its always a great way to figure out what to do.

i’m about to go do something simmilar my boyfriend became ill after he was worrying about me because i went into hospital so as a kind of almost thank you/sorry present im visiting him and im taking soup and one of those teddys with the heat sacks in them as i know his room can get cold ^^ x we are just ggunna spend the day cuddling and im gunna suprise him with a massage later

Just make him some soup and stay with him until his fever goes down , if he can’t drink his medicine just give it to him by your mouth if he is sweating , wipe his body with a cold clean towel .. that’s all , hope your bf gets better and i hope my advice worked out for you

i am in the same boat here. my bf is sick with a bad virus and i want it to go away. your bf probably would want you there, cuddling to him and just doing things for him. if you guys love each other so much then he could care less if you brought him a gift. just being there makes all the difference in the world.

Well, I’m sock right now and freezing. I wish my fiance could be here to keep me warm tonight but she can’t. I really wouldn’t care if she didn’t bring me anything, but if she brought me a teddy or something I’d gladly accept it cause it would remind me of her after she left. I just wish she was here to help keep me warm, because we all know body heat helps warm you the best.. lol.

Well, My sweet, amazing, beautiful girlfriend just spent the last week with me. Because i was sick with strep throat. Although, i wanted her kisses(; But i wouldn’t let her kiss me because i was to worried about her health as well, So she made me soup, and stayed the whole week with me. As soon as i saw her it made me feel great. So just visit with him and let him know how much you care, as my Love does for me. And she also, slept next to me when i was up in the middle of the night feeling awful. And you just have to show your love, and take care of him. He’ll Love the company from his true love.
