How come some guys don’t make eye contact when they talk to me?
I work with a man who is really nice looking. He’s very smart, quiet, and reserved. And I get that. He smiles at me from a distance. But when he talks to me, he does not make eye contact. Sometimes I’ll look around and be like “who the hell is he talking to?” lol. I think he does the same thing to other women but I’m not really sure.
I just don’t understand it. I’ve met guys like this and at first impression I feel like they are cold and aloof. Help me understand this kind of personality if you can… please and thanks! <33
Well I’m a man and I do that too sometimes. For me, it’s because I don’t want to make the other person think that I’m checking them out lol. And sometimes I’m just shy.

I personally don’t believe that there’s any complex information to be taken from such a small behavioral thing. It’s probably totally meaningless.
