I like this boy but I found out that he has a crush on somebody else!!! What should I do?
Heres the situation:
1. i met this boy at my friends halloween party
2. at party we flirted, he took his shirt off to show me his tattoo and at the end of the night he hugged me (like fully)
3. i get his mobile phone number off my friend who had the party
4. the boy and i start texting each other (i let him know who i am when i texted him for the 1st time) and his replys were quite flirty-
like example: xoxo, xox, x, 
etc…
5. then one day about 4 months later, i nearly ask him out, then i find out that he thought that i was his next door neighbour(who he obviously has a crush on) and his replys became less friendly- no more xox
6. I asked him if he likes this neighbour (who has the same name as me) and he denied it 3 times!!! BUT ITS OBVIOUS that he DOES!!!
7. now hes trying to act like nothing happened…

Well let me ask you something, was you flirty back to him? Guys expect girls to be more flirty then they come off. He was trying but if you was not also trying he could have gave up on. A guys mind sometimes wanders also and when they cant get something in one place they move on to the other. In your case he has move on to another girl. He likes you obviously if he is willing to talk to another girl that has your name. You have his num so why not call and tellhim how you feel or write him a letter or tell him in his face before things go the way you dont want them to. I hope evertyhing works out for ya and hope I could be some help.

He THOUGHT you were his next door neighbor, and you obviously arent, and he has a crush on his next door neighbor, so hes trying to act like he didnt make the mistake of being flirty with the wrong girl. He doesnt want to give flirty signs anymore because your not the girl hes in to.

Sounds like this guy does like the neighbor girl. I would just talk to him whenever I saw him, nothing big. Try to become friends with him first. After that you two could start hanging out more often and his feelings for you will grow.

Be aware that in his mind now you are a mistake. Not because of you, but because of him thinking he was texting someone else.
Id suggest to back off for a while and whish him good luck on this girl. Strongest would be to say it to his face (in private): Too bad I am not the [NAME] you like. For I would not have minded to go out with you at all.

it is obvious as you said the guy is into someone so why deceive yourself, look for other guys and forget about this infatuation. you will find some guy who is interested in you sooner than you think

If he turns you down, then get angry depressed for a while
Then find another guy
Dont try to read his mind.
You dont know for sure if he likes that girl.

This is a no-win situation. Most men dont like dealing with confrontation thats related to women and the prospect of having to actually tell you hes not interested. He probably feels awkward and uncomfortable, hence hes ignoring you. You probably already know this so why put yourself through the humiliation. Might be best to best to move on.

If he loves her then y would he lied to u…..
Three possibilities….1/ He likes her but don wan to loss u.
2/ He only loves u.
3/Or like both of u.
but in all cases there is one thing in common……
So whatever is moving inside ur head,jus forget.Bcoz he loves u…..N i think this is the most important for u too…..Forget thinking bout future but jus try to love him more n more as u can……Hav a happy love life….:-)

if you think that their (the guy youve met and his crush) getting closer to each other or more like dating, i think its the time to move on and forget about him (i know its really hard)..
but if you think that he just have a crush on her and they didnt know each other, maybe hes just disappointed because he thought that youre his next door neighbour.. so just give him time.. and try talking to him a lot to get back your relationship
but if you think that hes really inlove with that girl (even if they didint know each other) just accept the fact and try to move on.. because if youll still love him or flirt him something bad might happened..
