what will happen? will i just be lonely?

sometimes i worry that ill never find “the one” im in gr 9 and ive never had a boyfriend. its not that i dont want one but im not so desperate that ill go out with whatever guy asks me. ive only been asked once and the guy was an extreme loser. i feel like my standards are to high, its like popular people date popular people and losers date losers. im kind of a loser but the guy i like is “popular”. i feel like ill never find anyone because the popular guys only want popular girls. what should I do?
