Question:Why am I still single? 19 year old female.. help please :)?
I’m a 19 year old female. I’m slim, blonde and tall. Not to sound conceited, but I’m told that I am pretty… but if that were true than shouldn’t I be getting attention from guys? Seems like the only guys that ever speak to me are the old ones (like in their 50s-60s), or the really odd ones. Sometimes it just gets me down. It’s like everybody else has somebody, except me. What do guys look for in a girl? I am confident, emotionally independent, confident, goal orientated.. shouldn’t somebody be responding positively to that, rather than pretending that I don’t even exist. Could I be intimidating men or something?
I’m not desperate or anything.. I wouldn’t change myself for a man (like, I wouldn’t act like a ditz.. I am very independent). Maybe I come across as being too serious (although I have fun, and am I giant dork
). Perhaps guys my age only see me as only the long-term relationship girl? Whilst all they want at their age is “fun” aka, casual relationships.I’m looking forward to reading your responses

im 21 and i have similiar experiences with guys to you.
i get told im beautiful occasionally and guys will say i should be a action film star (like older guys lol)anyway, guys my age ACT SO AWKWARD around me. in a club i get approached really quickly, but in life its so hard.

sometime when you want something very much, it takes a long time to happen. I think you should try and give it some time and then it will occur on its own. do stuff that make you happy, have fun with your friends. If YOU don’t like something about you then change it. eg hair or something. usually when women are a little bit down they change things, or go shopping and do new things.
any way i believe you should have some fun and not think about it so much. I used to be like that. No guys would like me and guys would tell me im also pretty..just like guys tell you. and at the point where i was giving up, i met my boyfriend, and now we are almost 3 years together
